What is the Fast?

Each year, thousands of people around the country join us for the Concern Fast.

During the Fast, people give up food for 24 hours and raise as much money as they can for the world’s poorest people.

Go hungry for Gloria

By fasting, you can help people like Gloria. She is just six-years-old and looks after her little brother and sister, all on her own. Thanks to the support of people like you, Concern is able to help Gloria by making sure she has at least one meal a day.

We really appreciate the hard work of our Fasters. So, for those people who raise above a certain amount, there is a draw for some great prizes. There are also prizes for primary and secondary schools. Full details
