// School festival fun

Cólaiste Eanna in Ballyroan, Dublin 16, were the lucky winners of their very own Fast festival. They won it because of all their hard work fundraising for last year’s Fast. Well done, students!

Students playing footballStudents at Cólaiste Eanna have been doing the Concern Fast since 1992 and have raised a lot of money for our work over the years. But last year, their fasting efforts really paid off and they managed to raise a whopping €2,500.

Fun in the sun

On 28 September, Concern took over their school on what was one of the hottest days of the year and brought festival fever with us! Our friends at Magnum Events provided sumo suits, an inflatable obstacle course, a bungee run and an inflatable table football game as well as giant-sized versions of their favourite board games.

Staying cool

To cool off the students ate free ice-creams from their own ice-cream van and listened to their very own DJ. just look how much fun they had!
